1. How to interpret this Risk Warning

All terms used in this notice are defined in the KeepBit Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms of Use"), and their meanings and interpretations are the same as those in the Terms of Use.

2. KeepBit Services

This notice provides you with risk information related to KeepBit services. Each KeepBit service has its unique risks. This notice provides an overview of the risks involved when you use KeepBit services. This warning cannot cover all risks. You must fully understand the risks involved before deciding to use KeepBit services.

3. No Personal Advice

We do not provide personal advice regarding our products or services. We sometimes provide information about trading procedures and potential risks. However, any decision to use our products or services is made by you. Any communication or information provided to you by KeepBit is not guiding in nature and shall not be considered or interpreted as investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. You should decide for yourself whether an investment, investment strategy, or related transaction is suitable for you, taking into account your personal investment objectives, financial situation, and risk tolerance.

4. No Intervention and No Monitoring

In any transaction or other activity you conduct using KeepBit, KeepBit is not your broker, intermediary, agent, or advisor, and KeepBit has no fiduciary relationship or obligation to you. The taxation of digital assets is uncertain, and when trading through KeepBit services, you are responsible for determining which taxes you may need to pay and how these taxes apply. You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes arising from trading on KeepBit, and you need to understand that KeepBit does not provide legal or tax advice related to trading. If you have any questions about your tax status or obligations when using KeepBit, or any questions about digital assets in your KeepBit account, you may wish to seek other independent advice. You must be aware that KeepBit is obligated to report your transaction, transfer, distribution, or payment information to tax or other public authorities at the time and place required by applicable law. Similarly, at the time and place required by applicable law, KeepBit will withhold taxes related to your transactions, transfers, distributions, or payments. Applicable law may also prompt KeepBit to request additional tax information, status, certificates, or documents from you. You need to be aware that failure to respond to these requests within the prescribed time may result in KeepBit withholding taxes on behalf of the relevant tax authorities as stipulated by law. We encourage you to seek professional and tailored tax advice on the above matters before making any digital asset transactions.

6. Market Risk

Digital asset trading involves significant market risk and price volatility. The value of digital assets can change significantly and may occur rapidly and without warning. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. The value and returns of an investment may rise or fall, and you may not be able to recover the cost amount of your investment.

7. Liquidity Risk

The liquidity of digital assets is limited, which may result in you being unable to complete operations in a timely manner when you wish to sell positions. This can happen at any time, including during sudden and sharp price fluctuations.

8. Availability Risk

We do not guarantee that KeepBit services will be available at any specific time, nor do we guarantee that KeepBit services will be free from unscheduled service interruptions or network congestion. You must be aware of this risk when you wish to buy, sell, store, transfer, send, or receive digital assets.

9. Third-Party Risk

Third parties, such as payment providers, custodians, and banking partners, may be involved in the services provided by KeepBit. You may be subject to the terms and conditions of certain third parties, but KeepBit will not be responsible for any losses caused to you by third parties.

10. Security Risk

It is impossible for KeepBit to eliminate all security risks. You are responsible for protecting the security of your own KeepBit account password, and you are responsible for all transactions under your KeepBit account, whether authorized by you or not. Transactions in digital assets may be irreversible, and losses due to fraud or unauthorized transactions may not be recoverable.

11. Digital Asset Related Risks

Given the nature of digital assets and their underlying technology, there are inherent risks, including but not limited to: 1. Failures, defects, hacks, exploits, errors, protocol failures, or other unforeseen circumstances in digital assets or the technology or economic systems on which digital assets rely; 2. Digital asset transactions are irreversible. Therefore, losses due to fraud or accidental transactions may not be recoverable; 3. Technological developments may render digital assets obsolete; 4. Transactions cannot be settled on the scheduled delivery date due to delays; and attacks on protocols or technologies on which digital assets rely, including but not limited to: (1) Distributed denial of service; (2) Sybil attacks; (3) Phishing attacks; (4) Social engineering attacks; (5) Hacking; (6) Smurf attacks; (7) Malware; (8) Double-spending attacks; (9) Multi-mining, consensus-based, or other mining attacks; (10) Disinformation campaigns; (11) Fork attacks; (12) Spoofing attacks.

12. Trading Risk

The digital asset market is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The price of digital assets can change rapidly at any time, including outside normal business hours.

13. Communication Risk

When you communicate with us through electronic means, you need to clearly understand that electronic communication of any kind may fail, be delayed, be insecure, and not be delivered in a timely manner.

14. Currency

Fluctuations in different currency exchange rates may also affect your gains and losses.

15. Legal Risk

Changes in laws and regulations may have a significant impact on the value of digital assets. This risk is unpredictable and varies across different regional markets.
